What a national frenzy that is going on about Ms.Wee Shu Min's article? Whats wrong with us? We demand for freedom of speech but when someone else say something we disagree, we whack her. Come on guys, give the young girl a break. Ms Wee Shu Min was just airing her views and if you disagree with her ,challenged her. Well ,as for Ms. Wee Shu Min,why the apologies?, why remove your blog? You did not do anything wrong.
Shame on you guys ( perhaps ,I would have to remove my blog too after my comments) and grow up a little.

I agree wif u tat she shdnt take down her blog and shd stand by wat she said.
But since she is not above dishing out personal attacks she shdn't expect anything less from the public.
Yes anonymous, I fully agree with u and she should also accept what the public is dishing out to her and I don't think she is complaining.

Good on u mate! I don't care a f*** what she wrote. I don't waste my time over such issue.Ok, u can also rebutt her but its not fair to ask her dad to step down or ask her to leave the country and so on...she is just a kid lmao....and btw I am not a steward anymore...thats was 30 yrs ago my friend.
Free speech comes with responsibility. If you write against a view you must be prepared to be challenged.
A scholarship student with a reputable college and a daughter of a public figure should know this better. If she was only ranting, practising her skill at running people down or whatever, at least qualify it with that first and foremost. I doubt she will then be subjected to comments as we see it.
Its a wake up call for all college students in blog and anywhere else.

Come to think of it,what you just said make a lot of sense. Being a daughter of a public figure, she should be more careful in what she blogged. Well, we are learning everday, isn't it?
