SIA cabin crew: uplifting lives in Bohol
In God’s Little Paradise known as the island of Bohol, 26 members of over a thousand-member volunteer group took everyone’s spirit 30,000 feet above sea level in a three-day mission of the Cabin Crew Club for Community Care (5Cs) through its Reach Out Programme by Employees of Singapore Airlines (Ropes), the first outside of Singapore.
With the aim of improving student performance and providing a more conducive learning environment, the 5Cs conducted a deworming mission and committed to a one-year feeding program benefiting 282 Grades 1 and 2 students of Booy Main (BM) and Eastern Cogon Public Elementary Schools.
They also refurbished the physical set-up of both schools where they transformed old school rooms into library, dining and activity rooms with a landscaped garden. The 5Cs brought in materials from Singapore and sourced out some from Bohol in refurbishing the rooms. Click here for more
