Robert Kuok, one of my favourite VVIP Passengers.

Secret of His Success(Robert Kuok) Source: Asiaweek Power50

When asked this, Kuoks aides will invariably say: “Mr Kuok is a true gentleman. He has the power to make his opponents yield willingly, and is a genuinely amicable man. And he makes it a personal effort to ensure that all his employees embrace this ‘gentlemanly’ way of conducting business.” Kuok’s gentlemanly ways are also well-recognised among his peers. He has many a time bailed out his contemporaries in distress, and furthermore, he does not seek the limelight, preferring to live a life of thrift and simplicity, winning him accolades and admiration near and far.

From a Malaysian:

Well done to Malaysians with those Billions. To Robert Kuok, I appreciate your loyality to Malaysia. You are an example of 'kacang tak lupa kulit'. I remembered the day you visited us in Sabah some 8 years ago. You spoke fluent Malay with me to the surprise of my Chinese colleagues. I also remembered when you turned down my offer to arrange for you the VIP lounge at Sandakan airport. I wonder how many other super rich Malaysian behave this way.
