Hongkie stewardesses for SQ ? My boss said "No way"!

Wow lau eh some airlines so desperate for stewardesses until go to Hong Kong to get girls. Last time when BT suggested to his ex SVP to recruit girls from Asian countries, his reply was "we are not desperate and we won't want to be like CX"...see now what happened? That suggestion was given way before the airlines employ Indian and Indonesian stewardesses. At that time the airlines had only the Japanese girls as the only foreign girls.
Keh kiang la ( singlish for smart alec) my ex SVP and now have to eat his own words. Don't know whether he is still around or not,the SVP I mean. Maybe still working overseas as SVP Americas or Europe or kena retired already.
The airlines is soooooo desperate for girls la,I know. Very few Singapore girls want to be stewardesses because like that ah soh passenger who pointed to the stewardess on the flight said to her little daughter " study hard otherwise have to work very hard like this auntie". So you see most Singapore girls want to study hard and be lawyers(burok or runaway with clients' $$), doctor quack, engineers ( so MRT underground foundation don't caved in)or go into politics and become ministers ( $100,000+ a month salary) or at least be NMP ( can get allowance of $10k a month and also appear on TV during Parliament) Next time the airlines might even stretch their nets to Timbaktu to catch African gals.
Hey employ old folks and retirees like McDonald did so can save cost and more $$ to please the hungry shareholders. Only thing you need would be more defibrillators on board the air crafts just in case the ah peks and ah mahs get heart attacks.
