He is fed up of flying

Dilemma said...
Currently, I do not enjoy flying anymore and things have changed tremendously since the day I joined. There are too many rules & regulations now and this does not allow us to be creative. Also the people flying today are different. No more exchange of ideas, camaradie, taking care of each other, etc.I planned to leave next month but my family did not approve. I do not mind getting paid $1200. Thought of working in a foodcourt. I guess if I leave, I have to sell my condo, and to cut down my contribution to my parents. What you all say?? Any suggestion??

You are right. Since TPT came to CC only bad things happened. Flying became a chore. Everyone became fearful of one another due to frequent backstabbings and juniors reporting seniors to the office. All the stress caused the seniors to do silly, unimaginable things. In-sync sessions allow crew to accuse anybody without fear of repercussion. All the morale and goodwill built over many years got washed down the drain just like that. It will be hard to get back to the good old days of flying.

Wake up!! It will never come back. Live in the real world. All the core values goes down the drain. It is about work, work and work. Just do the job. Hope everyone know that time have change. The sooner everyone accept the changes the better. TPT is just doing his job, to raise his KPI. Today, it is all about $$$$.

sad to say that what u said is true... should u be able to upgrade yourself just leave afterwards...

I used to be a crew.. but thats 10years ago that I left and life goes on. Im progressing through my job but of cos do miss out on the perks.

My current job requires me to fly overseas and company preferrence is SQ flights. However, from the way the crew works u can see that there is no chemistry and simply a matter of getting it over and done with.

Although Im a PPS , I just shut up and watch.

What to expect? Good old days ? Wait long long.
