BT when he took over as CEO in 2003 during the outbreak of SARS. The only easiest solution that came out from him is to restructure the company.
If not for that BohTong you would be still around.
What kind of CEO as when the SARS epidemic is over there was a shortage of crew.
What fore sight and planning is this?
Pathetic!
He should have step down long long time ago.

Hope he will be replace by someone who is much more capable than him.

BT: aiya give ah seng a break la. Say a few good words abt him at this farewell stage...i bear ah seng no grudge cos he had a difficult task at that point of time.

Yes the most easiest of the difficult tasks. U don't need a CEO to retrench. Thats a no brainer. A good CEO would have explored all options b4 retrenching. Anyway Demon Chew happily volunteered to do clearance, so Ah Seng took the easy route with blessings.

Yes and now its payback time. Demon Chew is next.....

Boh Tong I know you bear no grudge against "Bogeh Seng". In our society in this Little Red Dot people living here are not that forgiving and gracious. That is why we have camgaign such as being gracious and kind to one another.
As a CEO he don't even know what are the Company Core Values.
Or he simply chose not to practice it.
What example is he setting????
Yes easier said Let's move on?
There were few hundred were affected by the restructuring.

Had caused lots of Despair, Depression, Divorces etc....

"Bogey" handled the situation very very badly!

There are many ways of handling the SARS downturn.
Eg 1 month or 2 month no pay leave.
Cutting of staff pay and so on...
I don't need to elaborate.....

It's just plain selfishness and greed and keeping his hot seat as CEO.

No matter how much zero in your bank, how much stock you have or how many houses you own you will leave this world with NOTHING.
No dont follow Dorai just yet, the worst of it is to suffer for the rest of your life.

Sometimes all these bad Karma will befall on to others in your family.

BT, it is a blessing in disguise that you retired, otherwise we won't be able to listen and read your stories. I always believe that when one door closes, another opens!
