Eloped!

To be a model or a calender girl for SIA, a stewardess has got to possess beauty, charm and a good work record.
Singapore Airlines does not engaged professional models to do it's commercial. So all those girls you see on TV,YouTube, magazines, newspapers etc in SIA commercials were flight stewardesses.
I could think of 2 main reasons why SIA uses its stewardesses in its commercial.
First,SIA is proud of its girls and second, its for economic reason.
Flight stewardess Anne,a Malaysian was one girl that fit the bill. She was young, pretty, bubbly and charming. Her work record was excellent.

On many occasions she outbid the other girls and acted in TV commercials for SIA. Anne had a way with her seniors who were mostly male. She flirted with them and won favours from them. With her kind of beauty and charm, there was always a beeline of guys from captain down to the most junior steward waiting to take her to bed. But,mind you,it wasn't as easy as you think for Anne was a clever and cheeky girl who liked to tease the guys with kisses and hugs and the kind of 'CFM' stares but rarely let you bed her. She was a 'cock teaser' to put it crudely.

After getting tired of teasing the male crew, she fell in love with one of her batch boys,Aaron and decided to get engaged to each other.

Aaron was an innocent young steward. His objective in life was to be a rich man and he worked very hard and saved almost every cent he earned. He wanted to provide his future wife and children the best he could ever afford. He wanted to be a successful businessman.

Anne admired Aaron's qualities and principles in life. She also like his innocence and good looks.

As their marriage date was approaching, after a flight,Aaron found a note on their bed from Anne telling him that she had eloped with another man. She had packed and ran away with Wilfred,a passenger of the airlines.

Wilfred was a conned man,one with looks and gift of the gab. He didn't have a job and he made his living by lying and cheating people and organisations. In a way,he had also conned Anne and won her over.
Naturally,Aaron was brokrenhearted. He didn't realised Anne was having an affair with Wilfred and the news shocked him. Aaron attempted suicide on a number of occasions.
Meanwhile, Wilfred had swindled a foreign bank in Singapore to the tune of US$10 million( we could not verified the actual figure) and fled with Anne to Taiwan at first and later ended up in the USA.
Anne and Wil now had the means to spend real big. After leaving Taiwan, they headed for Las vegas. Wil gambled like mad and against all odds, made a fortune on the Black Jack table.
How Wil won money on the tables was anyone guest. Did he cheat the casinos? We don't really have the answers. He could have cos he was a cheat too.
After being tired of Vegas, the couple moved to San Fanscisco and started a business there. The business lost money and the Mafia, with whom Wil had done business with was all out to get their money back. There was a time when the Mafia people went to Wilfred's office and sprayed bullets to scare him off.
Finally, the money matters with the Mafia was settled and the couple left for Brazil to seek refuge from the law here,in Singapore.

Could this incidence changed him?

Harry was a male crew around my time. He was flamboyant, friendly and easy going.
One day on a flight to a far off city he and his crew had a full load of passengers. They had to worked extremely hard and was on their feet throughout the flight.
Then came meal time, Harry had to open around 20 bottles of wine to satisfy his wine drinking passengers. To expedite the whole process of wine opening,Harry would tuck each bottle at a time in between his thighs, insert the corkscrew into the wine bottle cork and pluck it out with one quick pull. Harry had been doing this for the last 2 years while flying as a steward without any accident.
However on this flight, luck was not on his side. On pulling one of the corks out,a bottle broke in between his thighs, cutting his thighs so badly that he fainted. It was a deep cut and very close to his manhood (balls la stupid) and Harry lost a lot of blood.
The flight was diverted to another airport and Harry was hospitalised.
After that incident, Harry was a changed man. He was no longer his usual self. He became a "kiasee"and "kiasoo" person (fear of losing and fear of death). Why you may ask? Answer is he almost or perhaps lost one of his balls...hahaha.

One too many.......

Mary the accounts clerk was shocked when she went through the dental bills submitted by the dental surgery contracted to treat the crew. Mary discovered that a certain crew by the name of Kok (not real name la)was visiting the company's dentist about a dozen times in a particular year. The bill showed that Kok visited the dentist for check-ups,cleaning of teeth, treatment etc etc.
Mary became suspicious and went through the accounts of the preceding year and found the same thing.
Quickly, Mary brought the matter up to her manager. The case was referred to the cabin crew division. An explanation was required and Kok was hauled up to the office.
At first Kok denied visiting the dentist that often. Cabin crew division threatened Kok that if he was not forthcoming with a satifactory answer, the case would be referred to the police. This sort of threat usually worked with the dishonest crew.
Finally, Kok admitted he brought his whole family of wife, kids, parents and in-laws for free dental care at the expense of his employer. He also told the company that the dentist was a friend of his and was willing to put the expenses onto the company's account under his name.
Kok was asked to resign from the company, which he did.
The resignation turned out to be a blessing in disguised for Kok. Today Kok is involved in his own business ( maybe monkey business hor)and doing pretty well. Kok was spotted wearing a pony tail ( dun think he became a gay..haha)and looking quite handsome.

Who says casino never lose?

A tale of the coins

Bok loved doing flights to Japan. He had his fair share of at least 1 rostered flight a month to Japan. But Bok would swapped flights with his colleagues so he could fly to Japan more often.
On his flight to Japan, Bok would carry lots of cheap valued copper coins from countries like Thailand,India etc. The value of these coins ranged from 5 cts to 10 cts.
Whilst night stopping in Japan,Bok noticed that the drink vending machines accepted 500 Japanese Yen coin. The vending machines would dispensed can drinks of the likes of coffee, cola, fruits etc at the cost of 100 Yen per can. If one were to insert a 500 yen coin, the machine would dispense a change of 400 Yen. That would give Bok a gain of S$6 with an insertion of 1 500Y coin. The rate of exchange is S15 to 1000 Yen or $1.50 to 100 Yen. On top of that,Bok could keep the can of drinks.
On a single flight Bok would normally bring around 100 of the low valued foreign coins. He would during his stay in Japan visit many vending machines and exchanged them for the high valued Japanese Yen. A quick calculation would give Bok a profit of $600 each time he visited Japan. On top of the profits, he also brought back the 100 or so cans/packets of drinks home. Btw Bok and his family owned a small provision shop in Toa Payoh and the drinks he brought from Japan also helped to boost the family owned shop's bottom line.
The Japanese owners of the vending machines were shocked to find themselves being cheated. They got together and discussed ways to catch the cheat or cheats. In those days it was too expensive to install hidden cameras and so the owners took turns to watch their machines. It turned out that their vigilance paid off when Bok visited one of their machines. They apprehended Bok and handed him to the police. Bok was charged with theft and sent to jail.

So shiok to hit and run at Marina Bay Casino

Went to the Marina Bay Casino this morning.Paid the sucker S$100 for entry levy. Played Baccarat at table of minimum bet of $100 and max of $50,000.
Changed $500 cash into chips and within the next 30 minutes hit them a few thousands....won mostly by placing bets on "Player" cos I dun like to pay commissions (for bets on "Banker" one has to pay a 5% commission when win)...then cashed the chips and "cha bot"(scooted off).
Promised myself NEVER to return to that casino or the one at Sentosa (Resort World Sentosa)...hahaha.

The vindictive boss.

CS (chief steward)Lim had stepped on his svp's toes on many occasions. It was not that he was a bad worker but on the contrary he was a good cs,always on the company's side. He was a disciplinarian who would not hesitate to report or correct his juniors when they did the wrong thing. If you ask me Lim was an asset to the company not like many others who were lazy and political.
One day, Lim's svp asked him to withdraw a report he made on a stewardess who was found wanting. This stewardess was the svp's "pet". Lim refused to withdraw the report on the grounds that particular stewardess was ill-disciplined and a skiver. The svp was mad with Lim but Lim did not care two hoots.
After that incident, Lim's svp was on the lookout to get even with him. His svp was known to be a cocky and tough boss especially to the male crew and staff.
Much investigation was done behind Lim's back to see whether he had trespassed the company's rules and regulation.
It didn't take long for the svp to find out that Lim was living with his girl friend (not a crew)although he was a married man. But there was nothing wrong with living with one's lover and so Lim's svp couldn't do anything to him. Besides, Lim's work record was impeccable.
One fine day,Lim's svp got a big break. Lim's lover called him and told him of the bottles of liquor Lim had brought back from his flights. The svp seized the opportunity and summoned a few security officers to the lover's home. There, they took the bottles of liquor back to the security office and a statement from Lim's lover that the liquor were removed from her house.
All these whiles, Lim was away on flight. When he arrived in Singapore, the security personnel was waiting for him. They searched him but did not find any unauthorised company's items on him.
Nevertheless, Lim was charged with the "unauthorised removal of company's properties" and was fired despite of his plea of innocence.
The reason we found out why Lim's lover conspired with his svp to screw him up was because he wanted to leave her and go back to his wife.

The 2nd case was one concerning my colleague. He dated a few stewardesses. He incurred the wrath of that particular svp when a stewardess whom he dated was the svp's favorite.
His svp was so furious that he launched an investigation into all his activities. It was discovered that my colleague had on one instance over claimed his allowance. The svp seized the opportunity and charged him with the intention to cheat the company.
Somehow, the union was able to prove that my colleague was innocent and had make a genuine mistake. It ended with my colleague getting a letter of warning instead of being sacked(which the svp wanted) for making that mistake.
