i feel that it is ok to have crew members to join the passenger in the same seating area to take a break. They are also human and u can't possibily ask them to hide at the pantry and take a break, its very unhumanly. I remember once i was on a long haul flight from San Francisco to Singapore and I can't find an air stewardess on duty as most of them are hiding at the pantry to take their meals, I felt very guilty when I ask for a drink from them as I understand they are having their meal breaks but can't be help my mum is coughing all the way. Therefore, I think that if there is no need for a service from the crew member, we should try to avoid disturbing them during their breaks. I understand that some crew member flew quite a few flights in a week therefore they will feel tired and need rest

@Tan: you only paid for a seat, not buying the entire plane or airline.

Passengers should mind their own business as long as the crew has given them the service they paid for.
alan would not allow crew to rest like that.tony sim is so weak that he cannot do anything but let crew rest like cattle.more of these shit to come if we have this union.we must vote them out.
How can SQ and Union let cabin crew rest next to passengers, really unprofessional, poor stewardesses sleeping next to ang mor men.

you should ask tony sim that screwed by management again because management does not respect him at all.he is kicked and pushed around like a ball by both management and his own ppl.
Well... see what Ah Pong has to say then...
Very soon..when a passenger goes to the galley..and horrors of horrors he sees a SIA crew having a drink or eating in front of him when he asks for something!!!!Then he will take a picture of it....and asks why SQ cabin crew are allowed to eat and drink on board while on duty. And then the PR manager will come in and say that SQ cabin crew are only allowed to eat and drink on flights above 14hrs.
y can`t they sleep????? i dont knw what is wrong with u ppl........
