Questions that may be asked at SIA cabin crew interview.

There is going to be an interview this Saturday 4th August 2012 at the Sheraton Tower,Singapore.
Guest what sort of questions SIA interviewers will be asking? There is no "ten years series" like you have in your school exams. However, I think  they may be asking the following questions:
For the first round the generic questions together with the self introduction may be:
1) Are you excited over the current Olympic that is going on in London and if so...why? If you are not excited at all, also please tell us why?
2) Which place or places of interest in Singapore would you bring a tourist to and why?
3) What is your favourite food and state why?
4) Give us 3 reasons why do you want to be a cabin crew with Singapore Airlines?
5) Include one new destination to SIA's network and give us your reasons for including that destination.

Above are for the first round and I am simply guessing only. Please note I will not be held responsible if those questions are not being asked at all.

Please note I will not be replying to your comment here. Instead, you would have to be a registered member of the following forum http://bohtong.websitetoolbox.com/  if you like to ask any question regarding the cc job or interview etc.

Hello Mr. Tan,

I'm Rosaline from Indo and I've been trying to pursue my dream as SIA stewardess for the past few months. The thing is, for 3times I tried, all the staffs kept telling me the min requirement for Indonesians is a degree whereas the SIA website clearly states tht diploma 3 holders w/ working experiences are also welcomed (I hv a diploma in sg but it's on hold until november 2012 for graduation ceremony) Nevertheless through all those 3times I passed, merely to be kicked out after skincheck. At first I shrugged it off, then after three times of the same answer of "company secret", I can't help but feel disheartened.

I am asking for your kind advice because this is solely my dream job! Thank you loads :)

I see, that's too bad indeed :/

But just to be a bit "kia su", I've asked around and found out that SIA (or any company in sg) is a bit reluctant to hire foreigners. Is it true that I absolutely can't get in unless I've really received my diploma?

Thank you very much for your time! I hope I'm not of any trouble with these kay poh questions :p

SIA requires foreigner to have a recognised degree otherwise why should they hire you.

To the other anonymous,

Thank you for taking time to share your opinion with me! I agree with you on that matter, but I do have a letter from my university stating that the diploma can only be received in November this year. I also have several recommendation letter from previous companies I've worked with, and I guess I'm just a bit bothered to think that it's this period of waiting for my diploma has been an obstacle for me to become a part of SIA.

And of course, I would like to know if I truly have that chance to become one, otherwise I'd keeping up false hope :/

Hi boh tong,
I'm 18 this year and I intending to go for the interview this dec after my A level exams. Im intending to work before pursuing my degree. Do you think I would stand a chance in getting through? I do meet the basic requirements of the sia cabin crew for the ladies. But what I do lack is working experience, I only have one job after my o levels 2 years ago.

Hello Mr Boh Tong

Just want to ask you if putting someone you know in the airline helps? I have a cousin who's in the airline for more than 5 years. I think he is the leading crew or trainer I'm not too sure. Does it help me in a way?

Thank you
