Our hazy and headache days

Jack Neo shared with us his army daze;

While our fathers boasted of their heydays.

For us, we can only talk about our haze days,

Which make our eyes smutty and blurry;

Our heads go groggy and dizzy;

For elders, exertion causes breathing wheezy.

For sure as the haze gets thick,

The pollutants in the air we lick,

Cause both young and old to fall sick.

But cheer up and don't you despair;

Pray God turn this gloom to sunny and fair;

Send rain, douse the fire and clear the air.
