I agree with this chap. He is cool man!
Some of the stewardesses & their boyfriends dressed like shit at the airport too. I saw these many times myself.

This steward has brought an important point about cc dress code especially at outstations. The cc especially the girls dress shabbily and the guys are like hobo or tramps. Wake up cabin crew of SQ

Nothing wrong with what has been published by our steward who has some harsh criticism on how our CC dress. Sad, but it's true. From the day SIA was inaugurated in Oct 1972, many of us had always made an effort to be properly dressed. Why not; to be accommodated in First Class Hotels, it's only the most sensible thing to do. We must never give grounds for us to be victims of labels and name calling.

What a snob and arrogant. You mean the cc who is required to adhere to very stringent uniform and grooming standards while at work cannot relax and enjoy the layover without some jerk coworker judging them on their layover attire.
Loosen up man. Get a life and live and let live.
If you like to wear a jacket and ascot on layover it is not for everybody. Stop judging.

Very junior stewardess... said...

Absolutely right...This guy has a low self esteem and high ego. Anyway, he is a nobody but just a waiter trying to act like a big time businessman ! Lol...

This is a result of no team flying,no bonding.Gone are the days where crew care and support one another.I remembered the days when I used to fly and got qurantined in EU when I contacted chicken pox for almost 2 weeks. My excellent team members actually informed all the crew that was flying there to visit me to ensure that I was doing fine.I got visits from crew that I had never even met before, volunteering to buy me meals when I got sick of the hotel menu.
Now,you probably rot and die in your own room without anyone knowing if you chose to be arrognant and disrespectful..Let's see who you are going to turn to when you are sick and too weak to step out of bed!!!
