OMG, looks serious, hope the passengers and crew who were injured are fine. Severe turbulence during a descent must have been horrible, since speed has been reduced to prepare for the approach, even a super jumbo like the 380 is not spared.

Yet management still think that cabin crew are overpaid & trying all ways to trim crew's salary.. Speedy recovery for those who were injured.. God blessed

Could it not have been a turbulence but a microburst, which is more serious?

The seat belt is a life saver and preventor of accidents. It must be fastened for take off and landing and whenever the fasten seat belt sign comes on. Other times, airline operators recommend that they be fasted loosely whenever paxs are seated.
