Monthly ex- Raffles Institution (RI1960-65) classmates/teachers' get together

Come 2015,we will be organising a function whereby we will contribute to a fund to help the current students from RI from the lower income families. Our goal is to collect at least 50k in donation. The amount is an estimate but we hope to get much more since many of our classmates/schoolmates are doing very well in life. Just to give an illustration, among my classmates are 3 professors, a few wealthy entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, the founder of Rashid Hussian Bank and an ex minister etc.
We will also try and get our former school teachers to attend (most of them are in their late 70s or 80s).

Auspicium Melioris Aevi is the school's motto - "the hope for a better age" - has inspired many local leaders who passed through its hallowed halls, including Singapore's Prime Ministers, Lee Kuan Yew and Goh Chok Tong.
