Reward for Good Girl Rita.

This posting is dedicated to my good friend and reader of my blog Mr. Quizman, who had requested for stories of the pretty and well behaved SIA stewardesses.
Rita was a sweet and angelic looking type of girl. She was conscientious and empathized with her passengers, especially the older and timid ones. It was common for Rita to get complimentary letters from her passengers praising her for her diligence and care for them.
Mr. Micman, a 68 years old retiree from USA had met Rita twice on his flights.
He took a liking to Rita as a father would to a daughter. Rita was gentle and kind to Micman. They became good friends.
Rita had introduced Micman to her family at a 3 roomed HDB flat at Circuit Road. Micman could see from the way Rita's family lived, they were poor folks.
However, they were warm and sincere people, Micman, the retired bachelor psychologist noticed and he always felt comfortable with them.
Rita and Micman would usually write to each other. They kept in touch frequently for about 5 years.
One day, the letters from Micman stopped coming and Rita found out that Micman was very ill. Rita and her parents went to look for Micman in Virginia,USA. They stayed there with him for almost 2 weeks and nursed him back to health.
By the time Rita and her parents came back to Singapore, they had news that Micman had a relapse and died.
They became extremely sad, especially for Rita who had grown accustomed to Micman. There was nothing they could do but to mourn for Micman's death. They had lost a dear friend.
A few months later, Rita received a letter from a lawyer acting on behalf of the late Micman asking her to fly down to Virginia to verify some documents left by Micman. To her astonishment, Micman had left US$5 million to Rita as his sole beneficiary.
What a gift, what a story! Incredible but true.

Thanks for the story, it certainly pays to be good to people without expecting anything in return. I knew there is a nicer side to the Sarong Kebaya girls and Rita is a real life example. Hope to hear more of these types of Stewardesses.

Regards,
The QuizMan.

Hi Quizman, I believe so...kindness beget kindness. Yes, there are nice SIA girls around.
BTW are you married to one of them?

No, I am not married to a Stewardess. That's why I like to know more about them.
