10 years of blogging, grateful to those who helped make it a success

Today is the 10th anniversary of this blog. The first post was about stewardesses marrying rich passengers (click here).
I remained an incognito blogger until 2010 when I was asked to reveal myself due the publication of my book, "Fasten Your Seat Belts". Reluctantly, I complied. Ever since that time, my blog is less interesting as I am unable to blog the truth.  Even people or crew who think that my stories are somewhat similar to their situation would email/call or through a third party demand that I delete the posts.
From that moment, I lost some interest in this blog. However, it is amazing how I could still carry on telling stories via this blog and how much some people appreciated my stories. One reader even donated some money for my work.
My readers are mostly cabin crew wannabes, current cabin crew, pilots, members of the public and cabin crew management staff.
To all the above, I would like to express my gratitude for making this blog a success.
Could I go on blogging for some years to come? The answer is, if I can remain in my current healthy state, I will.

Mr BT,

Your blog is like a bridge between the passengers and the airline (crew, management etc).

It provides a platform for people to voice their grievances. It is easier to be more candid behind the computer screen than in person. If the staff isn't happy with their bonus, they can say it here and if us passengers feel the service isn't good,we have a way to inform the crew without actually hurting them.It would be better for them to read about it here than in an email from us to the management.

There will always be people trying to discourage you from speaking the truth so just ignore them.As long as you can back up what you say and it isn't defamatory then it's ok.

How else is the airline going to improve if they don't hear from the very people they hope to impress?

As qualified as we are, we won't always have the answers for the people who pay our fees,so your blog helps people like me see things in a different light (crew's perspective).INSEAD,INCEIF and other brilliant schools can only teach you so much.

Keep blogging.

Sent from my smartwatch.
