Being a cabin crew is one of the best things in my life

Each time I travel on the plane as a passenger, it brings back fond memories of the time I was a cabin crew. I was with SIA for 35 years before my retirement. When people asked me would I still want to be a cabin crew if the clock could be turned back and me young again, my reply has always been a Big "Yes".
I am glad I had been a crew as I could now empathise with them. I appreciate them for all the hard work they have put in to make their passengers (including me) comfortable and safe.
All these years of flying as a passenger, I have never had a harsh word for them. The services they rendered may be at times lacking but I understand the reasons behind their action or inaction.
But to be honest, on most of my flights the inflight service were up to expectation.
Many crew, especially the younger ones do not know me. The older and senior ones do recognized me. During the lull period, I would usually visit them in their galleys and chat with them.
Personally, being a cabin crew is one of the best things that had ever happened to me.
To all cabin crew, may your flights be as safe and enjoyable as mine had been!
