LS apprehended by Tokyo customs

I've just received a report of a leading steward who was alleged to have brought into Tokyo 5 bottles of champagne, 2 bottles of wine and 2 bottles of water bottles filled with whisky. It's unclear whether the above items were airlines properties. He was detained by the custom authorities,  interrogated and subsequently sent back to Singapore.

Best la. Organise a drinking and orgy session.

He'd better not be a Malaysian! When outside Malaysia, Malaysians including those working for SIA must behave.

He is unfortunately a Malaysian dude!

Times have changed since 15 years ago at least.
Cannot offload alcohol.
Absolutely suicidal.

Wanna have fun, go buy from supermarkets on arrival etc.
Gone are the days of big chief organising to offload the
entire range of alcohol. It was like an unspoken contest of
which flight organised a more daring episode of offloading.

There is a person (who is in sitting in STC now) who used to knock on doors
to share a wide array of drinks during night stops. Amazing achievement with
such talent to be selected to sit at a desk after decades of knocking.
Cheers to that last person standing...;)

" He was detained by the custom authorities, interrogated and subsequently sent back to Singapore." Isn't that very lenient of Tokyo customs? So nothing happened to him in Japan?

Perhaps he will be banned from entering Japan for a few years, that's all.

Just send him back to Malaysia. We will deal with him.
