actually, many japanese firms themselves pocked billions from this natural disaster. before friday, yen to USD stood at 82.XX, today we have seen, all time low, 76.XX. Bank of japan had injected over 480 BILLIONS of dollars (converted to USD). Nikkei was funny too, Monday dropped 6%, Tuesday dropped 11%, and guess what, wednesday? it was UP!!! Sorry Japan, I can't donate while your own firms just made hundreds of billions in less than a week. As you know, someone's loss = somebody else's gains right?
