Most crew were easier to appraise

The ones who did not give much problem when it came to appraising them were the junior crew. Most accepted whatever ratings  you awarded them so long as you had your reasons.

Most and I would say around 90% received very good appraisals. The appraisal was part of the criteria for promotion. If one did well the chances of being promoted was better.

The appraiser must speak with the appraise regarding his work performance regardless of whether it was  good or bad. Giving a good appraisal was easier than a bad one. In this aspect, many were given good appraisals.

Specimen copies of the appraisal forms are here ( cabin crew division has since revamped and came out with a new form but the criterion are similar)
