BT: The above reminds me of an incident involving one of our chief stewards, Paul. He upgraded a Japanese female passenger to the business class because she too was afraid of flying. Paul put her in a seat nearer to his workstation so he could be "near" her.

In the middle of the night, Paul plonked himself in the vacant seat next to the female passenger. He put his arms around her and tried to kiss her. She was too afraid to call for help. Paul put his hands under her blouse and touched her breast. She started to sob.

When the plane landed at Tokyo in the early morning, the passenger complained to the airport staff. A complaint was filed. Subsequently, Paul was fired from his job.

MAS reputation has been badly tarnished by MH370 and MH17. This incident has only made it worse. Not long ago a Malaysian diplomat based in NZ had been accused of raping an embassy staff. Better close the airline and concentrate on running the airport and its catering service.
