These days I blog more about Hong Kong because I like and am concerned about HK. I had my first international nightstop in HK way back in 1968 and somehow is quite sentimental about the place and people.
I hope HK will returned to normality again.

Crew still in Japanese detention

The crew who was arrested for alleged supermarket theft in Tokyo is still in Japanese custody, I was told. Is the case so complex that the authorities need to keep the poor crew since 20 December last year? It seems they do not allow visits from the Tokyo staff. What if the crew is innocent of the alleged crime?
If he is proven innocent, he should sue the authorities for illegally detaining him for such a long period which involves spending his time during Christmas and the New Year!

Don't compare a steward with Carlos who was the chairman of Nissan.

I heard from the crew that SIA is providing a Japanese speaking lawyer to defend the steward.
