My 2 cents worth on " Is he SQ cabin crew?"

I refer to my post "Is he SQ cabin crew" and would like to share my opinion on the subject. Frankly, I don't see anything wrong with what the male cc was doing. He was checking-in his suitcase and does not have to be in full uniform as long as he has his crew/airport pass. After he has checked-in his baggage, he like all the other crew, will report for duty (preflight briefing) at the control centre. By this time, he should be in full uniform. Therefore, I don't see any reason he should be reprimanded. The person who brought the subject up in his FaceBook must be someone who does not like this particular crew.

I disagree with bohtong. If the crew was wearing civies, then it could be a different matter. The crew was in half uniform minus jacket and tie. Furthermore unbottoned the top button. It is like saying what is wrong with a stewardess having a sweater pulled over her kebaya so long she isn’t reporting for work at Control. I know where you are coming from because stewards are permissible to be seen minus tie and jacket, in food court and public bus. If it is a subject of opinion, then I feel one button unbottoned down and checking in Staff counter in full public view is not professional. So long one is in the public concourse, there should be no compromising on uniform standard. This is similar to stewardess grievances being subjected to public scrutiny for smoking in uniform. In general, crew do not like to be scrutinised by the public. Period.

Mr Cheif patty person ...

Please avoid mentioning people name here out of privacy sake..

Any man whom is in a hot weather tends to unbutton shirt irregardless of his hair...

You are absolutely having personal issues with the crew himself..
