Covetousness of some crew

Not all cabin crew are bad.

Why many SIA cabin crew wannabes.........

Many sia cc wannabes failed today's walk in interview at sheraton tower hotel.I heard 7 out of 10 didn't make it pass the 1st round.There are 4 rounds at every interview and 90% don't even smell the management or 4th round. Many tried umpteenth times and still don't make it pass the 3rd round.
Attending the talk by veteran cc executive luke tan is definitely beneficial but look at your face in the mirror first.If you look like a vampire,luke's talk can't help you. You need to go for plastic surgery and rectified that face first. Flight attendant accused of setting fire on airplane

The Compass Airlines flight carrying 72 passengers and four crew members landed safely in Fargo on May 7 after smoke filled the back. No injuries were reported. The plane was flying from Minneapolis to Regina, Saskatchewan, authorities said.

Eder Rojas, 19, appeared in court Thursday, following his arrest a day earlier in Minneapolis, and ordered held without bail, prosecutors said. The charge of setting fire aboard a civil aircraft carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

Gulf Air Cabin Crew Wins Big Pay Increases

An article in the Gulf Daily News about the new pay rates reports:

Flight attendants will have their basic wage upped to 52%, to BD340(S$1,224) a month.

Those serving in First Class will get between 57% and 90%, depending on experience and marital status, taking up their basic salaries of BD400 (S$1,440) to BD480 (S$1,728).

Crew get an allowance for every hour they are away from Bahrain, which has been doubled from 700 fils to BD1.500(S$5.40) under the new deal, said sources.
The increases were approved by the Gulf Air board earlier this week.

Above rates w.e.f. August 2007
1 Bahraini Dinar = S$3.60
