Scores have resigned because they do not want to be vaccinated against Covid-19 or accept ground jobs. For those unvaccinated crew who want to be remained employed, they will start their ground duties from 1 September 2021. They will work in the office from Monday to Friday and will be assigned work which they can carry out.

These group will quit soon as cant stay up late, wake up late, cant go drinking or clubbing.
Those stay in the west side will suffer. Either wake up at 7 am and leave house by 7.30 am to take bus/mrt or pay $50 daily on grab rides. Plus sure kena arrow do sai kang by Tpt or IA or A/ms. Plus must do those twice weekly ART.

What kind of work were they assigned in office? I thought SIA is bleeding money as flights are grounded except essential.
Don't they have skills hailed by some being in SIA can be successful in private sector. Why not try being a manager or something?
I think mostly clerical work.
