Yesterday the local community Covid infection has risen over 800. Some countries are asking their citizens to avoid visiting Singapore. China has claimed that one of it's citizen who recently returned from Singapore has brought the Delta variant home and infected some people.
It looks like SIA's opportunity to start more flights has been damped by the high number of infection in Singapore. The light is dimmer now at the end of the tunnel not only for SIA but the tourist industries here.

They can apply to work KTV anytime. In high demand there, remember wear the crew pass. They can do what they love doing outstation in KTVs. Drinks, chodaidi, guessing games. The only difference is they get paid instead of getting laid for free by the old foggies.

Cases of Covid is much higher than last year.
What's your suggestion for Crew who are anxious about their future?
Though they've flights, they can't cover much destination and earn as much before. They mainly earn basic plus allowance on selected destination. Not much to live on in ever expensive SG.
The old crew boh liao. Lan lan.
Have to stay inside SQ unless want to become taxi driver or table wiper or menial work.
My suggestion is that the young crew with good educational background should look
for other jobs or involve in some kind of businesses.
As for the older crew who has only O level education and over 40 years of age, my advice
is stay on and hope for a turnaround in the airline business.
Covid is a good timely reflection for those crew that are very guai lan and cocky when they are promoted at the fastest and expense of others.
Nature always has a way to restore balance.
The LS who lost his son,the 8 would not be happy.Karma,if move on its own way,its rebalancing time.Every dog has its day in the sun,till the pound of flesh is paid in its own way or forgiving,the christian way,the ending of Covid seems far.Epsilon,Lamda,Mu,the variants of concern seems to be photo finish yet.Hopefully mankind wins or with Trump,Bolsonaro and other Deltarian friend of Covid around,millions passed,than WW1,2,3.Let us pray.
