The next time SIA starts hiring cabin crew, I wonder what would be the qualities it will be looking for in its candidates. The reasons I am saying this is because the crew need not be smiling as they will be wearing the face masks during flight. This may be a permanent thing even in the absence of Covid. Therefore, smiling and having beautiful teeth may not be a must. Next, crew are not supposed to interact with passengers. Social distancing may be a norm. On board the flight, the crew would serve the passengers with minimal contact. Also, crew presence in the cabin during flight may not be a requirement. Can you think of anything else which may be the new normal for the crew when the Covid virus go away?

on the opposite side, why would anyone youngsters want to choose sq as their job with all the ART nad PCR test, no leaving of hotel and sight see, totally losing the main reasons why anyone want to be a cabin crew.
maybe they can hire retiree, like those uncles aunties who clear plates in hawker centre
Cos we are told during every pfs that we are professionals, ambassadors, many people Q-ing to join, no need to bring work home, get to eat different high class food, SIA is good employee leh
Sia is good but the Ranked employees think they are entitled and gifted.Thats where the downfall,bad karma follows.Need to rid of bad karma,or become Carrier of Covid into the city.They have not solve the problems yet,Omicron playing hide and seek,chsnging shape etc.Broadly stay away from them the better,breakthru infection from Israelis studies show infection still,vaccine not foolproof.Sigh,unless gamma rayed all items for virus including crew,it will slip thru.Hong Kong studies show personnel must strictly follow infection protocol,or get sacked.

Thought crew love to hibernate in their own rooms and eat drystores? All they need is foc internet and can surf internet, bet football, watch squid games? Thought all have uncle in joburg or cousin studying in moscow or relatives in whole world? Why all of sudden dont want to stay in room and want to go out liao?
