Ukraine crisis may affect intake of crew

SIA has suspended all fights to Moscow due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. In fact, the SG government has joined a long list of countries in sanctioning Russia for its aggression against Ukraine.

The prime minister of Singapore in his strongly worded Facebook post said, "If international relations are based on 'might is right', the world will be a dangerous place for small countries like Singapore. This is why Singapore staunchly supports international law and the UN Charter, which prohibits acts of aggression against a sovereign state," he added.

In view of the above there will be some disruption to SIA flight schedule and consequently affect the hiring of cabin crew.

Hi Boh Tong

How's your teaching of CC wannabes thus far?

What's your advice for them being COVID and now, Ukraine crisis is gonna be long long road to recovery for SIA?

So far the response to my coaching is mediocre. Imo the Ukraine crisis should be resolved soon through peace talks. Putin can't stand the onslaught of the sanctions and world opinion of him. Otherwise Putin may be another Saddam or Hitler. In the end good will be overcome evil.
