The above photos showed the post Covid cabin crew graduates after a tough 4 months training at STC. Our congratulations! It has been 2 years since the last batch graduated.

Hi Boh Tong, I thought you not allowed to post them in uniform since they still employed by SQ?

BT said...

I published it based on the principle of Fair Use.

Hi, BT, in my opinion, the definition of "fair use" cannot justify you publicising the photos of the recent CC graduates. If that was the case, then what is your definition of "fair", namely, the nature of advantages/benefits to the public at large. This is seen against the definition of "public interest" whereby an individual or entity can disclose confidential information if it benefits the public, or a substantive part of it (i.e. not a small group).
Also, it would not be right to publicise their graduation without their (CC's) consent.

My humble opinion, and only mine, and there could be differing views.

the standard........let's just say hope they will be good crew.

Covid still growing,Monkeypox, and air travel could be a vector in transmission. In memory of those who passed from Covid it should not be and preventable if all are proactive and listen to the rumour mills thru Wuhan.CCP is never a harbinger of truth, not death number uncommon till million, then become a concern.Anything less is normal mortality, cover up before reporting to central bureau or the messenger's fault.my two cent opinions.

how did some of them pass bmi test?

sq dont hrie good looking crew anymore? or is it no longer attractive job for good looking crew?

BMI is artificial.Motherhood requires stronger vessel not skinny figures to please the eyes In Covid era ,different survival criteria applies, not dumb blonde, and pax survey will include whether cc can survive Covid virus attack and not spread to pax.Want beauty go watch pageant,to survive on board ,resistant to Covid attack more important, and also not spread to innocent people in the community. No one can be sure, they don't carry Monkeypox virus.Enough is enough.Open door policy need to be selective for everyone's good.

Haha l like the way u reply to this comment : how did some of them pass bmi test.
” U want beauty, go watch pageant”.
SIA open door policy, giving everybody fair chance to get selected. U don't have to be beautiful.

Why bitch about whether BT is legally or illegally using the photos? You got nutting better to do is it ?

SUNNY GALE said...

This is why it was asked why is that you are better off flying with SIA.
The open door policy even in the area of selection of Cabin crew is one of the reason.

You forget that eyeballs are important to BT.Phd dissertation always goes into thousand of assertations, asumptions to cover all based. Its like the past Paliment Coverage of Oppo.Assumptions become facts, when it applies to Oppo phone, not Apple. Can use loophole as wormhole to escape truth. Can handle the truth ?There are nothing to do if one does not pin point the truthfull sliver otherwise it becomes de facto facts.Truth is easy to swallow, rather than dollops of lies, down one's throat in a democracy, not in DNK.Then it becomes compulsory read,in town square at the rail station, only news in town.So its healthy to bitch about something till cows come home,if no cow,no home means one is not free, you are by google location in NKorea. Then you are not alive,by current defination.

Hi BT, ex-FSS here, how can I get in touch with you? Would be great if I could message you privately. Thank you.

To Anonymous who said I had "nutting better to do", well I was trying alert BT that he might have breached some Intellectual Property Rights. Thanks for allowing me to clarify.

Just to add, and if I recall correctly, BT used to include the SIA logo in this blog. He was requested by SIA to take it down, which he complied with (perhaps BT can confirm this). So, if those photos were part of SIA's publications, reproducing it without consent or acknowledgement of source is tantamount to a breach of IP rights.

Hi Ex-FSS

If youre thinking of joining back, it means you cmi in the outside world. Know only coffee and tea for life.

That was and still the facts . Those who stayed and got promoted to higher rank, only good for coffee, tea and bullying juniors to assert superiority and loyalty by extreme standards, mainly self standard. For example, extra drawings on desserts for service, when already time is tight on board. Like coffee tea on trolley on HKG turnaround. Or soup service on J class, which was eventually shelfed, including counting soup bowls on landing. It happened, and of course, all got untimely end, in the end. Complete media blackout by them, currently or passed, which one hardly missed. It reminded of Nazi propangandist, of Aryan superiority and other similar brainwashing technique, thankfully it came to a past. History does not lie, do not repeat it is good lesson in life. Most airlines have stronger backing, especially oil, and it helps. My two cents worth.

Well let's see whether SIA will ask that the photos be taken down.
Let's wait.

SUNNY GALE said...

Well the photos are still around and SIA have not asked for it to be taken down. Looks like publishing it on the principle of Fair use is acceptable here.
