Retiree scammed off 40k in CPF

He was scammed 40k of his CPF money. Read here  I was quite shocked to hear that one's CPF money could be siphoned off but after reading the news I now understand how it works. So please be careful and don't click on link/s that offers cheap deals.

One's need to be software literate. The best is put in aero mode when charging overnight.Unpowered phone cannot sent ,and assessibilty be in off mode.Recent facial scan on singpass app prevents functioning, and transfers, unless its pegasus by higher level hacks.Do not click on links provided, unless certify by playstore.Even then, read review on apps, less means dodgy.Shorten url can be bought off the shelf for ,in the net.Justice is slow on the web, practically worldwide, not worth prosecuting the player. Its like being in Rome or Spain,Paris being pickpocketed, scammed is part of the tours experiences.

The cpf $$ can only be transferred to your bank account only after you have more than the retirement acct limit. This usually applies to retirees and not those aged less than 55.

Those who reached the withdrawal age are termed 'fat pig',if they are not software literate. To stop a malware from taking control of your phone, turn off the power and also turn on no install by any software, unless one knows it's origin, and purpose.Playstore by Google seems to have vetted apps, but some were malicious,by being Trojans,or conduit for directing data to harvesting sites for illegal purposes, etc. Most democratic government except communistic, like NK will not,but some players want to know. Some hackers noted that for security reasons,it is possible to read, and monitor data's on the Internet.Scams and illegal sites use shortened URL to get ease of user for victims.showing nothing of the site like Facebook or Google, Those who don't know how software works, especially clicking on URL will only prove the adage,CPF is not your money. It is still not to late to take control of one's CPF money, turn off the phone, rejects unknown request, reduce daily withdrawal limit.

Do not perform any financial matters by mobile device.

Do it from your PC.
The screen is larger
The display clearer
And you can check the website address clearly.

Do not set up recurring payments from any account
Use Pay Lah with caution and delete after successful payment.
Check, recheck, check payee data
Confirm by phone call...

If all this is too onerous, please do not use internet at all.
You are a danger to yourself.

Currently its the smartphone as pc.But boomer that do not understand how software works, clicking on link provided, under ideas as instructed proves the motto www.It could mean world wide web,or wild wild west, every corner lurks a bandit waiting to rob one of their cpf.Engage a armed guards,or arm oneself with skills in software, turn off,say no to install and limit amount of withdrawal.Above all, dont trust strangers even from spf look alike especially dark, hairy south asian,or northern sounding chewhukia, after cpf is your money till you do all the wrong thing.

Some are so afraid that they do not reply
on Whatsapp. So afraid to text with fat fingers
that they may mistype.

That is why some people are completely silent
in a whatsapp group.

They do not know many of the emoticons, icons till kenna con..
