There is a walk-in interview in KL, Malaysia today. Some wannabes have asked me whether they should travel to KL for the interview (These are Singaporeans). Since the interview is for Malaysians my advice is not to go. There is a likelihood of being turned away. However, I knew of a few cases whereby Singaporeans who attended had been recruited. In this respect, if one is desperate to get the job then by all means go. If you are not allowed to attend or being turned away then you would have wasted your time and money. Be patient and wait for the interview in Singapore.

I came to know there are Myanmar and Korean candidate was being interviewed too. I was being rejected after many attempts. Maybe I'm already 40 very dissapointment when you're eager to contribute for SIA but being rejected.
Max age is 35 I think for most airlines.
But it's such a delusion when you're called for video interview twice 🙄
Haiyah, why so on joining cabin crew?
The salary and perks of travelling ðŸ¤ðŸ¤
Only 3.5k nia. Not so much these days.
Travelling to and fro Europe/USA is less frequent than Asia as more wealthy people cones from there which happen to be SQ target customers.
3.5k may be small for locals but is massive for other nationalities.
3.5k is basic nia! Havent include ifa, sale commision, laundry, transport, night stop allowance etc. Add up is 8k! For doing nothing!
Hi BT,I heard it thru the grapewine.IFS Kookie or Hock Lye recently went to higher plane. He met an ex crew last week, and one night, his family found him unable to be awake in the morning. He was a great guy, survived by his sweet missus and so on.Just an update, good guy dont die, they passed on leaving griefs stricken friends and ex colleagues.Happy meet at the gate, St. Peter awaits !
I just checked with a crew and it is confirmed that Kookie passed away a month ago. Thanks for the update, whoever you are.
Hello Auntie
8k/mth inclusive of everything you mentioned is for highest rank crew i.e. IFM/Chief.
Same goes for the 3.5k/mth which is what more than 50% non-crew CC get in the first few years and perhaps a decade of their career.
Don't misled the readers here.
Dear BT
I'm really upset that after many interviews with two airlines. They invited me for final interview and got rejected after such long journey. Should I keep on applying?
I can't advice you. If you don't have what it takes to be a cabin crew then you should not waste time applying.
Thank you once again 🙂
