I met him in a Singapore mall and he did not changed much even though he is in his early 70s. We exchanged greetings and spoke for a little while. I don't want to engage in a long conversation with him because I do not particularly like him. The reason is because after all these years I still remember him not giving a cent to a poor guy who needed money very badly. Let's call this crew V.
V had just won about 20k from a casino. When a poor passerby begged him for a few $$, V brushed him off. However to cut a long story short, V went to buy some expensive jewelries and later found out the jewelries was worth only a few hundred $$. V paid 10k for the fake stuff. Serves him right because he refused to help a poor fellow being and then got swindled thousands of $$.
So what is the moral of the story??

Its Karma-In-Action.Similarly to S-I-A,Stuffed-Insideous-Always,happens to Cc ,who had to do turnaround,Hkg,Maa etc.Some manger got swore till got cancell in social media,could be worse,got canned.All in the name of productivity and kpi,especially $,on the back of sinews and aches of crew.Knew an IFM,who lost his house,wife and all,druving grab,un BS market.Don't look good,may he be forgiven for his past,as a christian things to do.while I comfortably watch on the side sipping my paylah paid,on a Friday morning.

BT, you asked "what is the moral of the story?" In my opinion, don't frequent casinos too much. Otherwise, one might end up like the guy asking for some handout. OK to go, but do not be too addictive. Casinos are not afraid of gamblers winning. They are more concerned if gamblers don't come back.

If they go to Malaysia,they almost always go to Genting.
Gambling, scamming is in the genes of some ppl. Same as drugs or wife beating in some.
Both of you have strong personalities,
