" RIP" unpopular boss??

Recently the above WhatsApp message was circulating around . The said svp was a very unpopular boss who used to bully his office staff and cabin crew. He came to cabin crew from a notorious department which used force and intimidation to get its staff to produce results.
For us in cabin crew, it was unfortunate to be working under this tyrant. He would bang table at meetings when he did not get his way. Raising his voice and shouting at his staff was part of the daily routine. Many dreaded working under him. The only exception were pretty and sexy stewardesses. They were spared from being bullied.
When news came that he had died, many ex crew were celebrating. Why did I said ex crew? It is because this fellow was cabin crew svp a few decades ago and current and younger crew may not know or had work under him. By the way, he has retired long ago.
Following the news of his "death", I did some detective work and to my surprise he was still alive somewhere in Australia.
Many were disappointed that the news of his passing was fake. The news must have been started by someone who hated him.

Treat Covid as just another flu

My bet is the Singapore authorities are Covid fatigue and would open up  the economy. There are some hints they will do just that. They will treat the pandemic as an endemic and urge the people to live with Covid which is just another flu.
We will paying attention to what Mr. Lawrence Wong, the Finance Minister is going tell us on 5 July in his speech to the nation.

Former SIA steward who is now blind

To be honest, I don't know Halimi. Most probably he joined SIA after I've retired (2003). I admire this guy as he is a fighter and takes all in his stride, also positive in his outlook.
