COE for cars over 1600cc has hit the roof!
The above is for June COE. It has crossed the S$100,000 mark for the first time since 1994. For S$71,000 one can buy a new Mercedes 200 in Japan (pic below).

For those CC wannabes thinking of joining and want to live a fake 'luxurious' lifestyle, think again.
CC pay of roughly $4K on average is dismal. Living in Singapore is expensive. Cost of living has many times over rise yet for almost 20 years CC pay has been roughly the same.
Even if youre M'sian/other nationalities, how often you can go back to own country and drive? It'll be a liability to be kept paying just so make you feel good and show off to non-CC.
You've have to keep on flying till old to live a fake lifestyle.
Be a simple person and live a simple life having marketable skills than knowing coffee and tea for life.
