Does SIA permits this?

Someone gave me the link to the above and asked whether SIA allows its staff/crew to post in uniform in social media. As far as I know SIA does not allow but it policy may have changed because I also noticed that cabin crew in uniform are posting their videos in YouTube.

The public, the people, the cabin crew administrators are protectors of SIA?

SIA needs protection?
From...?

their own employees?

Why?

Hi, BT, if I may suggest, perhaps you should remove this post for the following reasons:-

1. Quite clearly, SQ will take issue with her actions because some were obviously inappropiately voiced whilst in uniform. Although she indicated a disclaimer (POV), it won't defend her in the eyes of SQ because, firstly, the POV was not absolute (i.e. whose point of view?) and, secondly, she was in uniform and was discussing work procedures;

2. Up to now, she seems to be able to get away with it. But, in the event SQ becomes aware of this (through other sources) and take action against her, she might blame you for highlighting her post. I know her posts on TikTok can be viewed by many but she won't be able to know who blew the whistle on her.

3. We all know that, in most instances, when one get into trouble, he or she will want to know how it happened, i.e who and what caused it. And because you highlighted her posts, you become a "vulnerable" person.

The above are my humble views and it is up to you to agree or disagree.

Hi Boh Tong

My guess is this person could be a former crew.

No full-time crew can post videos of themselves in uniform.

If not, they go lim kopi at STC and be in trouble.
