My opinion is that TPT is not that kind of boss who will fix people up regardless of what they, Baba Tan and the likes did. TPT is a reasonable svp from what I've heard. TPT is suffering from a serious illness and the least we can do is to pray for him.
I've worked under worse bosses with evil heart. Some is no longer in this world and a few is still around. As far as I am concern, I have forgiven them the evil deeds they did to us.

I agree tpt is a good and caring boss unlike all those before him especially skw!
Skw was hated by AO because he made AO post extinct which is rather unfair.These AO have too much leeways and hold over the crews,due to their untrammel and chokehold tantamount to bullying promotions cannot be based on personal opinions and passed judgement on their financial future in the Co,for these reasons,the juniors do not complain too much when the AO were force to on the golden handshake a few baby were thrown along with the bath water,among them BT.Of cource the Inflight Managers Auditors were no better some got to their heads and got napped for molest,and end up in Court.It never happened before,short of Blackie and Franky cases.Anyway,the ground between maintaining SOP and abusive procedures leading up to being called up,due to the fluid SOP,and inplemention of services,its really a moving goalpost TPT could not really gripe on,as the saying goes,the buck stops there.Morally yes but spiritually and in total conscience,lays on the first doer,then the boss.Karma dictates towards the first doer a fate worst than death,or itself,not prayed for,unlove,witness the obit of those cussed.On this basis let us pray for TPT recovery,many,many prayers will rise to a Tsunami rising up to heaven above.Amen

Skw was ranked higher than Toh.He left to form Low cost Airline which did not work then retired,heard to Aussieland.Those who live by the sword,dies by it.Those were the days,need to evolve to next,from Sars ,then Covid.Like Trump's speak clear the swamp of deadwood,in Putin's word,special ops,whichever,whatever Karma in action.
FYI skw was sacked by SIA and went on to work for LCB's low cost airlines. Skw could not get along with LCB's son who made most of the decision concerning the airlines and therefore the proud skw resigned and migrate to aussie land.

Thats his job. Thats his kpi. Thats what he is hired for. His kpi is at odds with the benefits and welfare of crew. Either he goes 1st or the crew goes 1st. Which would he choose?

KPI everyone has them, usually defined by
other people and not self.
Thes simple straight forward way is to meet the KPIs.
No matter what.
The elegant way is to meet them and yet
achieve a balance to be human and not machine.
It requires more than being intelligent.
It requires creativity, cheekiness, courage.
Such a mindset is not taught in schools or management seminars.
But you can find them amongst crew.
One need to balance with the devil,in the short term for monetary gain or in view of human's fraility and shortcoming,the weakness.One can never be perfect as an autobot,working nonestop,in the name of service,an artificial standard.Working hours could well stretch to 12 hours mandated by Managers,in the iffice sitting comfortably,not even lifting a finger,except pushing a pen.How ironic to match the holly grail of being no 1.How many cuss,uttered in the mind of those who slogged on board !
