You are not totally correct. Actually most crew dont like to gather for a meal. We are compelled and obliged to go. Plus why die die must eat at Earls court and bayswater etc when there are thousands of outlets availavble.its a kind of mental sickness. When i mention breakfast at earls court, most crew give me a kind of wierd look. They have never been there before or hear before..
My reply:
Maybe you are talking about the recent crew. I am talking about my time perhaps 30 to 40 years ago when we were staying at the Gloucester Hotel. Those days the crew did not have social media platform like TikTok, FB etc. In fact we did not even have mobile phone. So we liked to meet for meals and drinks. Of course, even during those time we had crew who did not like to socialise with their colleagues but far and few.
Yes you are right to say there are many places to go to. In the blog I was trying to bring back the fond memories of the days gone by whereby we usually meet for meals and drinks and chit chat.

If it's a good team with capable IFS then,or IFM now,all will be good and make a team great, as the saying goes.Espirit de corp become escape from the claw of monster team leader. Some leader were mankid selfish, egoistic, and driven, but lack compassion. When one seen the last of them, after retirement, they passed without notice by anyone, feared on board, forgotten at death, the price of not making friends when on duty.Do one think that the 8th be forgotten by the LS? Unless Christian type of forgiveness, the orbit Will be sparse as the dessert rain.Ozymandia will crumble to the ground, and equal made.Of course, those who have compassion will be united in fellowship beyond flight duties.Normally it starts by dinning together, such as dinning together, just like a law graduate dinning at the Inns in London.Of course, great team were formed, bonding and experiences, during the nightstop. The next best thing should be Oasis return,in the coming months.Happy flying, happy memories,it stays forever.,for SQ Crew.
