The man Teo Eng Chye who was involved in a scuffle which caused the death of Eric Foo outside a toilet at Woodlands was not charged yet?

Anyone knows about the charge or verdict of the case? The incident happened in December 2025 and I could not find any news as to whether Teo has been charged.

Talks failed and the Straits of Hormuz

 The talks between US and Iran in Pakistan failed! Now US is blocking the Hormuz Straits. There is a confrontation between the US and Iran in the Hormuz Straits.

Iran is demanding a toll of US$2 million from each tanker that uses the Hormuz. Iran is holding the world hostage. The Hormuz Straits is an international waterway and any ship could have a free passage.

Singapore does not want to negotiate with Iran because Singapore stand is the Straits does not belong to any country and its ships have the freedom of naval passage  as stated in the UN Maritime charter.

Last chance for Iran

 The war is still going on and Trump has given another chance for Iran to open the Straits of Hormuz by 9am SGT Wednesday 8/4/2026 or else face the elimination of Iran's bridges, power plant and infrastructure etc.

What's your guess, does Trump really mean business this time??

The war is raging on!

The war that started on 28 Feb 2026 is still ragging. It is even more dangerous now because the Iranian proxies like Hezbollah and Houthis have joined in the war against Israel and the US.

SIA may be grounded soon if the fighting continues and the Homuz Straits remains closed. Many will lose their jobs including the crew.

Just hope that there will be a diplomatic solution to the crisis. What do you all think??

RIP John Lee and Cecilia Chua

 John Lee our manager (former check steward) died 2 days ago at age 89. Cecilia Chua (former stewardess) and ground staff at SIA cabin crew training center died on 9 March 2026 which happened to be her 80th birthday.

Middle East war is bad for SIA

 The current war in the Middle East between Iran and Israel/USA is not good for SIA. The share price as I type is down 32 cents to $6.86 (-4.5%). In fact, the market has dropped significantly since the war has started 2 days ago.

SIA's shares has lost its magic!

 It is a relief to see that SIA share price has gone up a bit to $7.02 (up 6 cents from yesterday's closing). It has not been doing too well recently but why??
