"IFM allegedly took it on ex MI stewardess" (most sensible comment)

 Let me give my comments from a neutral point of view. I am a current SQ crew (not a veteran neither a newbie). Firstly, former MI crews are already trained for for A350 flights and some have even completed, hence, their SNY. The next batch of MI crew will commence their training on Tuesday, 24 May 2022 (the batch of 12 has to go to the US Embassy on Monday, 23 May 2022) to get their visa. So this will dispel the myth over the statement, "NONE of them are trained (yet) on this aircraft type". Secondly, the OP must have seen previous posts and noted that names have been mentioned and initials used for the nasty ones. I have friends who are former MI crew members. Apparently, this incident have been spreading like wild fire amongst them. Some are worried about meeting this IFM whilst some are quite gung-ho and said they know what to do. Some have gone back to their former management staff to seek advice and were told to stay calm and report to Ward Leader after flight. I think what the IFM should do if he know that this incident is going around. Not difficult to find who which crew is involved. We all know having SNY is not common, more so when it is a former MI crew. So, what he can do is call up the crew to clarify matters. On the other hand, if there is some truth in it, good luck to him.

Whether incident is true or otherwise, i am sure with the adverse publicity and buzz already created here, it must have gotten mgmt attention? More pertinent concern here is to establish whether OP (original poster) is a crew. If he (not gender biased here) is, than why here and not official channel. Why wash dirty linens in public? No trust in own system? Confidentiality issue? Fear of exposure and repercussions? If so, then mgmt better sit down and analyze why? But if OP is not a crew, then why is she taking up the case on behalf of who? Instead of advising crew friend to go through proper channel and protocols, why here? I am sure as a commercial pax and she has a complaint, she’ll be resourceful enough to find out where to write to? Whether crew or on behalf of crew, I smell personal vendettas against this particular ifm. He may not be well liked or popular? Whatever, he and no one deserves to be lynched in public who has no jurisdiction over crew! Writing to mgmt would yield the same intent to investigate and counsel the ifm. Y here? And if it’s true such anti MI crew sentiments have been permeating among crew, hopefully not all will be so shallow and stupid to be influenced, then it’s very very sad. Seems communication btw crew and mgmt are non existent that crew have to resort to external avenues to air grievances? We have just gone through a dark, in fact one of darkest period of sgp recent history. SQ is only merely starting to recover slowly. Flts were rare and few. Income were severely affected. I thought crew should have learnt from this dark episode and really appreciate and treasure this second lease of career life? Seems lesson wasted! SQ is recruiting crew due to recovery. These MI “distant cousins” have now become “sisters of the main family “, making up the numbers so that sq can grow and expand. For those who see divisions btw the 2, I implore you to please welcome them to the CC family, help expedite their immersion to settle in asap and SOAR together. The competition is not waiting for your! Sq just reported loss of $962 million, no small change. Teamwork is not enough! Family spirits is critical! If the ifm indeed said that at the briefing, he must be disciplined for not supporting top mgmt decision to merge and induct MI cousins into the SIA family! A leader must not promote division of any kind, intentional or otherwise, consciously or otherwise! I hope Mr. Bohtong can delete all related postings here and let cc mgmt investigate and settle the issue internally.

Why delete ?In the past the juniors had always been brushed off.Their comments and complain had never been looked into,until the media comes on board,and anonynimity allows unfettered comments without fear of unjust retribution.Punish the 23 crews ?Of course,still a window of breaking the channel of complain upwards,no proof of justice or fairness forthcoming,in fact punitive actions and slightest wrong steps and it's over for the CC,due to the top down handling of crew.For the moment anonymity should be good till the time when it's beneficial to reveal its like tracetogether token ,depending on situation,can be used against onelself,no fifth amendments or innocent until proven guilty.Its better to be i

if it is really IFM Pheelious than i think he truly deserve it,
I rem I did a europe flight with him , already damn tired but he demand whole set of crew to eat with him...in the end not much went and he made a big fuss out of it.

obviously nobody believes in sq's cc system, there's a top down feedback but no upward feedback, as long as you are lower ranked you live in constant fear.
