We flew from SIN to FUK recently and the video was about the crew serving breakfast before landing. Flight was 70% full and it was a smooth flight with good inflight service. The breakfast video will be uploaded in the next few days.
This is a Singapore Airline (SIA) blog . The stories are written by an ex cabin crew. The stories are about the crew of SIA, especially concerning cabin crew and pilots.
He was scammed 40k of his CPF money. Read here I was quite shocked to hear that one's CPF money could be siphoned off but after reading the news I now understand how it works. So please be careful and don't click on link/s that offers cheap deals.

Out of the 6 cabin crew SVPs I have worked for (TPP wasn't my SVP), one had passed away (Capt Segar), 2 are sick and the rest are fine. I wish them good health. The oldest is now living in Australia and is in his 80s. Yap Kim Hua and Eddie J are my favorites...why??..well because they were rather kind and understanding.
The last manager I've worked for is now retired and his predecessor had kicked the bucket. I've no love for them. Cyril Teo and Eddie Lim were my favorite managers. Cyril had passed away years ago and Eddie is now living in Melbourne.
I am merely speculating that TPT the SVP of cabin crew would either be medically boarded out (due to illness) or be given the early retirement. TPT is in his late 50s and the retirement age for such high ranking staff in SIA is 60. If I were in his shoes, I will go for the early retirement scheme which has many benefits. His number 2 (DVP)has been running cabin crew division for a few months already. That said, health is more important than position and money. I wish TPT well in whatever position he may take after all he has managed cabin crew very well.
From what I've heard he (Jim)once cheated his friend of 100k and fled to Malaysia. When he came back several years later, Jim was arrested at the causeway checkpoint. He was sentenced to 15 months in jail. He has left Singapore and is now in Malaysia.
