A tribute to my friend and ex-colleague

Gabriel Goh has passed away a few weeks ago. May RIP. He was working as a catering officer/supervisor with SIA/SATS before his retirement. He was a nice guy who was very generous with his friends. In the photo above Gabriel with the black/white checked short sleeves shirt bought us dinner at the same place twice in 2017. Each dinner with drinks cost him around $500 but he gladly paid for it. Besides being generous, Gabriel was also a pleasant person to be with. He was a positive and cheerful friend. I did not have the chance to see him when he was ill as I am still in Japan. However, we communicated quite often via WhatsApp before he passed away. I am writing this post as a tribute to him.

Gusto Restaurant & instructions on how to subscribe

For the price of an inexpensive meal one may spend the whole day in this cosy and not so crowded family restaurant in Japan. This place provides free wifi and drink all you can of coffee, tea, cappucino, coke, sprite etc etc. Most of the time I would have my breakfast here. Usually I would order a hard boiled egg, thick toast with butter and jam with free flow of my favorite cappucino for only S$3.40. Subcribe my channel by clicking on the "Subscribe" button below the video and you will receive new videos when I upload them to YouTube (instructions below)

Can someone please help answer the question below

 Hi Boh Tong

Whats your thoughts on increased taxi rates to airport made news today?

Do you think its fair for SQ CC to be given the $270 transport allowance which was made the same price more than 15 years ago disregarding inflation and others.

Should SQ offer complimentary chaffeur service for CC going to and from airport when they've flight?

My former manager and his assistant were in cahoots to fix me when I was still working some years ago are dead and gone. Both had cancer and died terrible painful deaths. Please don't get me wrong because I did not want them to go in such a horrible manner. Someday, I will go too but at least someone "upstairs" let me witnessed how these 2 went before me.
Just to quote what Google said about Matthew 18:6...
Where in the Bible does it talk about tying a millstone around your neck?

The important thing to remember is the echo of Matthew 18:6 in the last stanza, where it states that the people who offend the little children are sent to the seas with millstones around their necks. It means people who mistreat or abuse children suffer a gruesome death and go to hell.
Honestly, I hope the part about hell does not apply to them because I pity and forgive them. However, God's words never fail!

SIA is recruiting cabin crew from Malaysia

Come this Sunday, SIA is going to KL to interview and recruit stewards and stewardesses. Besides Singapore, Malaysia is the second favorite place for SIA to recruit crew. Traditionally, crew from Malaysia are known to be hardworking and conscientious. However, whether they still are, I can't really tell. Leave to the cabin crew management because they should know better. How about hiring the Indonesians?

Why my late ex-colleague avoided me ....

So what if you blogged about him? What was he afraid of? Was he not well liked at SQ? Did he terrorise his female colleagues?

If you have not done wrong why scared of the police??

My answers are directed to the above comments as well as others ( click here for more). The late KS Goh was a nice man. Why he avoided me was a mystery. I personally like him as a colleague and subordinate. He was a good worker, amicable but sometimes could too nice to his juniors.
If I were to blog about him, it would have been nothing short of complimentary. Maybe his reason for avoiding me could be that he did not like me. I may have, in the course of work, said something about him which he did not like. Perhaps someone had told him something not too nice about me. Well, it is too late to know the truth now as he has already "gone".
